The requirements between the different Medical Universities in Argentina are varied. Some state run faculties ask applicants to sit for an entrance exam or assess the applicant based on the academic achievements.

Whereas other state universities and privately owned institutes may not have any entrance requirements other than a decent academic record and a good grasp of the Spanish language.
