The English Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy from the University of Oradea was established in 1991, after a long and profound analysis realized by a commission of famous specialists, commission composed from: Acad. Ph.D. univ. prof. Stefan Milcu, Acad. Ph.D. univ. prof. Nicolae Cajal, Acad. Ph.D. univ. prof. Gheorghe Niculescu, Acad. Ph.D. univ. prof. Pius Brânzeu and Acad. Ph.D. univ. prof. Mircea Ifrim as founder and initiator of this university project to bring about Medical Education for English speaking foreigners.

Application Procedure for Romanian Medical Faculties with MSA
Medical Student Advisors offers a service whereby we ensure that applicants have the best opportunity to get accepted to one of our represented Romanian Medical Faculties. Our service includes correspondence with applicants, Medical Faculties and Ministry of Education. MSA councils applicants on living conditions in Romania and what to be prepared for during their studies in Romania. The service also involves assisting the student make the correct decision based on financial criteria and personal preferences.
Romanian Medical Postgraduate and Specialization Programs
Specialists do not have to sit for any board or entrance exams when practising in another country. Employment opportunities are always available for specialists in hospitals around the world. Our available associated medical universities offer postgraduate training in many areas. The courses involves much self study and clinicals, as well as the attending of medical conferences. The speciality professor usually gives students the syllabus for the year and works as a mentor for the student during clinicals. Postgraduate xams are held twice a year. Students are required to learn Romanian as all courses and clinicals are in Romanian language.
